The Greek Farmer was born and raised in Hackney, East London in the early 1980’s to a Greek Cypriot father & Irish mother. The abundance of available takeaways in London hit home when he moved to the home counties with his wife & two young boys. He was determined to introduce good quality, healthy Greek food to Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
So alongside the business of producing Greek cured meats from his farm, the idea of a Greek takeaway serving Codicote, Hitchin, Knebworth, Kimpton, Stevenage, St Ippolyts, Welwyn, Whitwell & surrounding villages was formed.
